Stunningly beautiful hotel, courteous service provided. Incredible & comfy room with central heating, a work desk, and a seating area. The view from the window to garden. Magnificent location not too far from city centre. Plus, 10 minutes drive from a massive mosque...

This charming hotel exceeded my expectations. Details like beautiful photographs and decor in the breakfast room show the owners' passion for the building. the location offered peaceful surroundings and lovely views. Room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and cozy. the friendly staff provided excellent service and hospitality.
The hotel didn't have many facilities beyond the basics, but this didn't detract from the overall enjoyable experience.

Surprisingly, the breakfast was nice and filling. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi that was quick and easy to connect to, even with multiple devices. The hotel location was also great since it was in the center of town and walking distance to shops.
There were a lot of issues with cleanliness - the bed sheets didn't seem to have been washed in a while and there were some stains on them. I also found a few hairs in the bathroom, which was a bit off-putting.

The historic ambiance of the building, paired with the owner's photography on display, exudes a rustic and authentic charm. the breakfast room's gentle lighting adds to the atmosphere, making for an even more inviting place. the location is also excellent for exploring the local area, perfect for travelers who value sightseeing and outdoor activities.
It's a shame the stay was too short - one night is hardly enough to enjoy all the pleasures of the setting. Perhaps a small inconvenience, though, was that the room could have had better soundproofing, as occasional noise from the street could be heard.

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at a charming hotel in the beautiful French countryside. The attention to detail and passion for the building were evident throughout, reminding me of the famous Vermeer painting 'het melkmeisje'. The breakfast room, adorned with stunning photographs taken by the owner, added an authentic touch. I only stayed for one night, which was my only regret. I highly recommend this hotel.

the attention to detail and passion for the building are evident throughout. the breakfast room adorned with beautiful photography added to the charm. Our luxurious needs were fulfilled with exclusive amenities, such as a sun terrace and private facilities.
The only minor issue was that we booked only one night. the service was exceptional and the outdoor dining area was a lovely addition to the garden area.
